Introduction of Airline Food Box Packing Line

Aiming to help the airline achieve the fully automated production, we researched and developed a set of equipment which can realize the functions including catering boxes opening, materials feeding, boxes packing, boxes sealing, boxes labeling and boxes stacking. It is estimated that the packing line can help reduce 10 workers at least. Under the condition of ensuring the production efficiency of 40 boxes per minute, the unitized design is adopted to change the snacks feeding unites quickly, and it can greatly improve the flexibility of production line and is convenient for maintenance.

1. Basic Function Introduction

All materials of this project are automatically fed and put into the food box according to the rules. Workers shall assist to prepare the material, supplement materials to the machine intermittently and handle abnormal handling situation. Each feeding mechanism has a storage function which can ensure the 30 minutes of continuous production capacity. The production capacity of the equipment shall be up to 2400 boxes per hour.

2. Compatible Materials

A. Normative Lamellate Materials: the materials which can stack up in order including tissues, wet tissues and so on;

B. Bag-packed Materials: the materials which is packed in small bags and cannot stack up in order including knife-fork suite, pickled vegetables, nuts, biscuits, jam, bread and so on;

C. Box-packed Materials: the materials which is stacked up in order in the storage baskets and need to weighed and located including salad bowl, diced fruits and so on;

D. Fresh Fruit: the materials which have been made into single piece including bananas, oranges, apples, purified water, ham sausage and so on.

It is composed of the host computer system, every independent control system of each machine units. And the host computer system can be customized to control the whole line equipment composition (for example, the relative position, quantity, whether the connection is completed and other information of each feeding machine). The host computer system can be customized in terms of placing location and stance of materials in the boxes, and the system can simulate and verify whether the packing can be realized. Additionally, customized information can be stored as a formulation.

Informatization function is set in the system to display, record and output the operation of equipment.

4. Other Information

A. Electric control system shall be quickly connected while changing the in-line and off-line mode;

B. Malfunction shall be indicated;

C. Lack of materials shall be indicated in advance;

D. Hint shall appear while accessing to the host control system, and identification signal shall light while entering host control system;

E. The machine has only one underbed and is easy to move quickly.

5. Technical Requirement

A. Comply with GB 16798-1997 Food Machinery Safety and Hygiene;

B. Comply with GB 14881-2013 General Hygiene Standards for Food Production in the National Food Safety Standard;

C. Comply with GB 31641-2016 Hygienic Code of Flight Food in the National Food Safety Standard;

D. Comply with Food Safety Operation Specification of Catering Service.
